2023 DMV Series 10U Commit Form

This form is for new players ages 8-10 to commit to participating in the DMV Series with Philly Girls Baseball October 7-8 in Ellicott City, MD. An optional but encouraged practice will be held on Friday October 6th on site. Travel costs are the responsibility of each family with a limited number of travel scholarships available.

The cost to PGB per player is approximately $210. Due to generous donations, 10U girls who are currently participating in baseball at Mount Airy, PAYSA, or UYKQ may participate free of charge or pay what what you wish.

Philly Girls Baseball will include your player in our overall counts for the team rosters for these teams.
Your player will attend the tournaments with a parent or guardian traveling with them.
Families are responsible for their travel costs, depending on the extent of fundraising. Scholarships are available for players residing in Philadelphia.
You agree to abide by our parent and player codes of conduct and our recruitment policy.

Recruiting Agreement

I understand that Philly Girls Baseball supports the growth of girls baseball at the local, regional, and national level. Philly Girls Baseball does not "poach" or recruit players from outside the region. Players from outside the area (PA, OH, DE, NJ, parts of MD) may participate if they have been matched with us through Baseball For All, have previously played with us, or if there are no local girls programs in their area. Philly Girls Baseball welcomes players from outside our immediate when space permits area as a way to help the growth of girls in the sport. If my player is rostered on another girls baseball team and playing as a guest, Philly Girls Baseball will not attempt to recruit my player for any events other than those listed in this form. In return I understand that Philly Girls Baseball prohibits local, regional, or guest players from recruiting any Philly Girls Baseball players to other teams. I understand that violating this policy may result in my player being prohibited from participating and may result in Philly Girls Baseball filing a formal complaint to baseball organizations.
